The clinical sessions of individual doctors and nurses vary within these hours.
The surgery's phone lines are available from 08:00 until 18:00. From 18:00 until 18:30 telephone cover is provided by Derbyshire Health United via NHS111.
We close one Wednesday each month for staff training - please see Wednesday closures below for monthly dates.
Extended Hours
- Thursday mornings 07:00 - 08:00 (Please note during these additional hours the phone lines will be closed)
- One Saturday morning a month 08:00 - 12:00 (Please note during these additional hours the phone lines will be closed)

Chesterfield Practices are working together to provide additional early morning, evening and weekend appointments
These appointments will be offered throughout the practices in Chesterfield
Monday - Friday 07.00-08.00
Monday - Friday 18.00-20.00

There are advanced bookable appointments available and patients can access these by calling us on 01246 568065 where one of our reception team will be able to help you. Appointments are available with a GP, Practice Nurse & Healthcare Assistants.
All Chesterfield practices have signed a sharing agreement to allow secure access to your records through a 'Hub', these can only be viewed at the time of your appointment. This is to enusre your records are kept up to date and allow the clinician a full picture of your health including allergies and medication sensitivities. Information sharing agreements are in place and in order to book an appointment, you must agree to your record being shared, if you require more information on this please ask.
When We Are Closed
Please ring NHS111. The surgery phone line (01246 568065) will also direct you to call NHS 111 whilst we are closed.
Emergency GP care (out of normal hours) after 18:00 and at weekends will still be provided as normal by Derbyshire Health United based at Ashgate Manor, Ashgate Road, Chesterfield.

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally.
Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:
- Treat yourself at home
- Go to a Primary Care Centre
If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.

Wednesday Closures
The surgery is closed one Wednesday afternoon each month from 1pm for essential staff training.
